No. Since July 2023 psychiatrists authorised under the Authorised Prescriber scheme may prescribe psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression, and everything outside that scheme stays a serious offence under state and territory law. Growing gourmet species such as oyster and lion's mane is legal and uses the same methods.
